Mama Mary & Me: Handmade Chapel Veils for Women & Girls

Hi, I’m Alicia. I am a cradle Catholic, a wife, and a mother to two beautiful daughters. I am also the founder of Mama Mary & Me, where I personally design and sew every veil from my home in Phoenix, AZ.

The Inspiration Behind Our Girls Veils

When my eldest daughter was born, I struggled to find infant veils or baby headband veils small enough to fit her properly. Guided by a desire to bring her into the beautiful tradition of veiling, I decided to make them myself.

I began creating matching mother and daughter veils for us to wear to Mass and began receiving many compliments and requests from parishioners at our church asking where they could find small veils for their own little ones. I then realized there was a need for a handmade veil shop that catered to all ages—especially for infants and young girls being introduced to the tradition of veiling.

Supporting the Tradition of Veiling at Mass

Launching Mama Mary & Me has been a joyful way to merge my faith with my passion for sewing. Whether you are looking for a lace mantilla for Mass or an infant veil for a baptism, my goal is to:

• Provide beautiful, modest head-coverings for Catholic women.
• Inspire young girls to embrace the beautiful tradition of veiling.
• Offer quality pieces sewn with faith and intention.
